Fall Vine Leaves
Beautiful red and green fall vine leaves in Alexander Valley in Sonoma County in Northern California.

Alexander Valley Grape Vine
Yesterday, we enjoyed a fall ride through the vineyards of Alexander Valley and Napa Valley. I enjoyed stopping along the way and taking pictures of the fall colors in the vineyards.
Backyard Fall Leaves
I really like this tree in our back yard. During the fall it gradually turns a beautiful orange and with the light rain yesterday more beauty was added by the water droplets on the leaves. In the summer this tree provides nice shade over our porch and we enjoy eating and relaxing occasionally in the back yard under it.
Hollyhock Flower
Flower photo taken a couple of days ago after the early morning light rain. This is one of my wife’s hollyhocks that she has growing in the back of the garden. A little different angle that shows the beauty of the inside of the flower.
Russian River Rocks
We live real close to the Russian River in Northern California and after the winter rains the newly turned rocks in the river bed can be just beautiful to look at. Here is one little section of a rocky beach along the river.
Sailing and the Golden Gate Bridge
My son Ted and I went sailing this last summer with our neighbor out on the San Francisco Bay. We just took his little point and shoot camera but I was able to get several nice shots. This was my favorite of the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s really cool to be out on the water and get a new angle on the bridge.
The American Flag
Neat setting for the flag in front of an art store in the village of Mendocino on the Northern California coast.
Rustic Mendocino Houses
My wife and I went on a day trip to the Village of Mendocino a couple of weekends ago for a picnic on the bluffs and than a walk around town. I just brought the little Canon Powershot 880 on this excursion but it is no slouch when it comes to picture taking.
As most of you know I am into little buildings and I also enjoy old rustic wood so these three little houses fit right in, and I couldn’t resist shooting a couple of pictures. Hope you enjoy the old houses as much as I did.
