These fall leaves, one sitting on the other with the contrasting colors attracted my attention. The white frost attached to the edges added another dimension.

With my interest in small and tiny buildings (see my Tiny House Blog) I really enjoyed several of Vallejo’s outbuildings such as the servant’s quarters shown here. If you are ever in Sonoma, this is a very enjoyable tour and I recommend it if you can take the time to explore it.

On the return trip to the Berkeley Marina we were given a very beautiful sunset and it showed off the Golden Gate Bridge and made the water shimmer.

A short walk takes you to an overlook of the bridge and along the way you pass some old World War Two bunkers. After taking some pictures of the bridge we headed back to the car. The passage way back framed the old bunkers perfectly, so I took a quick picture. I thought it turned out well, what do you think?
