Hummingbird
This photograph I took about a year ago at my in-laws house in Chowchilla, California. I was fortunate to get within about four feet of this mother sitting on her nest. I than cropped the original photograph to get this close up detail which really shows the beauty of this little bird.
What a beautiful shot – beautiful bird! We have two or three kinds around our place and have seen one nest, but never the mother on the nest. What a treasure!
