Calistoga Barn
I stopped by this red barn just outside of Calistoga, California on Highway 128 on my way back from taking my son Ted back to Pacific Union College. The weather was perfect with occasional showers. I like the wine barrel fountain and the texture of the old barn wood, makes for a nice wine country photograph.
Old Barn Light Switch and Breaker
Old storage barn light switch and breaker along my usual walk here at the Rio Lindo Academy campus. With 360 acres there is always need for places to store things and this old covered shed does the job. I liked the texture and color of the box and light switch.
Weathered Barn Wood
The weathered texture of old barn wood is a favorite of mine to photograph. In fact my roommate at Walla Walla College and I built a dividing wall in our dorm room using wood we had salvaged from an old barn in the area. He was an RA and stayed up late and I tended to head to bed early and this gave us each the privacy we needed.
