I’ve never seen this type of fungi with such extreme tones and colors. If you look at the log the same colors are in it, so I think it may be mimicking it surroundings.  The light rain also enhances and brightens the colors of the fungi.

These are some huge eucalyptus logs that have been sitting beside the road on the way down to the river. The wet texture and the fungi growing on the logs drew my attention. I really like the variety of color both on the log and in the fungi.
